Synclaire Alexandria Warren is a Human Rights Researcher, Certified Full Spectrum Doula, United Nations Foundation Keynote Speaker, and Reproductive Rights Content Creator. She is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Humanitarian Studies at Fordham University. Synclaire is also a Champion at Madre, an international NGO that focuses on uplifting women's and girl’s rights in the Global South. Her passions include menstrual equity, maternal health, and ending the weaponization of gender-based violence in areas of conflict. She does this by addressing the patriarchal folklore that has dominated our policies for generations. Synclaire’s humanitarian work influences all of her writings as she is dedicated to breaking down barriers and championing gender inclusivity, shame dissipation, and policy reform. Synclaire has spearheaded two impactful initiatives: “The Locker,” consisting of a network of lockers offering free menstrual care products, reproductive guidebooks, and empowering affirmations, and “Point Blank Period,” a groundbreaking menstrual equity-focused curriculum designed to eradicate stigma and ensure universal access.
Throughout her career, Synclaire has collaborated with esteemed organizations such as the Democratic National Convention, Reproductive Freedom for All, UNICEF USA, Global Citizen, DoSomething.org, Intersectional Environmentalist, New York City Food Bank, and more, demonstrating her commitment to driving positive change on a global scale. Synclaire’s unwavering commitment extends to disrupting injustices through storytelling, sparking crucial conversations, and advocating for lasting cultural change.
